My name is Liv, founder of by Parnell -   a content creating catalogue dedicated to empowering others, advocating for change and raising awareness on a multitude of topics from race, health, social mobility – and so much more. Through writing & discussing, contributing my own thoughts & opinions, my focus is on society, identities, and sharing lived experiences.

As a mixed raced black women, who’s always lived in a predominantly white area, with both physical and mental health issues, a passion has grown inside of me to speak up about the barriers one might experience and encourage others to keep the conversation going.  I've always been driven to raise awareness on the various forms of racism, the damaging impact it has and the tools needed to challenge it. And in recent years, it’s become obvious the need to raise awareness on certain health conditions too to end the stigma and give a voice to those who are silent.

by Parnell is designed to nurture the ways we are connected, provide respite for the challenges we face and harness in the opportunities to celebrate each other.

My skills and expertise have led to me being an award-winning EDI Champion, a certified EDI & Anti- racism Training Consultant, a podcaster & writer and also a facilitator.
